While 2012 has come to an end, the new year's fashion trends don’t seem to want to part with last season's trademarks. Be prepared to rock these bold pieces with a 2013 twist.
Last winter upgraded the staple pea coats and puffy jackets with luxe fur detailing for outerwear. My personal favorite trend was the leopard coat that started popping up. I don’t think people are going to give up this trend for a while. Fashionistas aren't likely to rock a leopard fur coat come summer time, but then again it depends! I live in Amsterdam so I will be rocking it every chance I get!
What is it about these particular prints that fascinates us? Perhaps, it reflects our innate desire to bring out our wild side. Or perhaps, it is an acknowledgement of the fact that this is as close as we can get to animals in the wild. Or perhaps the popularity of animal print trends over time is simply because they look really cool and totally stylish.
